Hi, I’m Ali Mohamed

I’m a web designer, content creator, and freelancer based in Kenya. I work with professionals and business owners of all kinds, helping them build a clear and reliable presence online.

My journey into web design did not start with a big company or a formal studio. It started with curiosity and a simple question: why do some businesses look professional online while others struggle to explain what they do?

The realization that shaped the way I worked today.

As I began learning and practicing, I noticed a common problem. Many small businesses offer great services, but their online presence does not reflect their value. Their message is unclear, their websites are difficult to navigate, or sometimes they do not have a website at all.

I focus on helping businesses present themselves clearly, so that when someone visits their website, they immediately understand what the business offers and how to take the next step.

Web Design & Development

My work in web design and development is built on one idea: clarity first.

When I started designing websites, I made the same mistake many beginners make. I focused too much on how things looked and not enough on how they worked. Over time, I learned that a beautiful website that confuses visitors does not help a business grow.

That experience changed my approach.

Today, when I design a website, I think about the person visiting it. I ask simple questions:

What are they looking for?

Can they find it quickly?

Do they understand the message without  confusion. I also ensure that the website works well on mobile devices, because many users will view it on their phones.

I use WordPress as my main tool because it allows flexibility and makes it easier for business owners to manage their own content. My goal is not just to deliver a website, but to create something that the client can continue to use and update with confidence.

Over time, I have worked with different types of businesses, each with its own needs and challenges. This has helped me understand that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Every website should reflect the business behind it.

Content Creation & Strategy

Content is how a business speaks online.

When I began working with businesses, I noticed that many of them were active on platforms like social media, but their message was not consistent. They would post content, but without a clear direction. As a result, their audience did not fully understand what they offered.

This is where content strategy becomes important.

I help businesses think about their content in a more structured way. Instead of posting randomly, I guide them to focus on what they want to communicate and who they want to reach.

Content creation is not just about writing or designing posts. It is about delivering the right message at the right time.

For example, a business should be able to answer:

What problem are we solving?

Who are we speaking to?

What do we want the audience to do after seeing this content?

By focusing on these questions, content becomes more meaningful and effective.

I also emphasize simplicity. Clear and direct communication builds trust. When people understand your message easily, they are more likely to engage with your business.

When content and website structure work together, they create a strong and consistent online presence.

Freelancing and Remote Work Coaching

Freelancing has played a major role in my journey.

Starting was not easy. Like many beginners, I faced uncertainty. I did not always know where to find clients, how to present my skills, or how to stay consistent. There were moments of doubt and trial and error.

But through that process, I learned valuable lessons.

I learned that freelancing is not only about having a skill. It is about how you present that skill, how you communicate with clients, and how you manage your time.

Today, I share these lessons with others who want to start or grow in freelancing and remote work.

I work with individuals who are at different stages of their journey. Some are just starting, while others are trying to improve what they have already begun.

My approach is practical and simple.

I guide people on how to:

Choose a skill they can focus on

Build a simple but effective portfolio

Communicate clearly with clients

Develop consistent work habits

Avoid common beginner mistakes

I also talk about the importance of patience. Freelancing does not grow overnight. It requires steady effort and a willingness to learn from experience.

Remote work also comes with its own challenges. Without structure, it is easy to lose focus. That is why I encourage simple routines and systems that help maintain productivity.

My goal is to help people build something sustainable, not just temporary results.

My Approach to Work

Over time, I have developed a way of working that is based on clarity, simplicity, and consistency.

I take time to understand each project before starting. I listen to the client, ask questions, and try to see the business from their perspective.

I avoid unnecessary complexity. Whether it is design, content, or strategy, I focus on what is useful and effective.

I also believe in clear communication. Clients should understand what is being done and why. This creates trust and makes the process smoother.

Consistency is another key part of my work. Small improvements made regularly often lead to better results than trying to do everything at once.

Why I Do This Work

I do this work because I enjoy helping people move forward.

There is something meaningful about taking an idea and turning it into something visible and functional. Whether it is a website, a piece of content, or a new freelance journey, the process matters.

I have seen how a clear website can change how a business is perceived. I have also seen how the right guidance can help someone take their first steps into freelancing.

That is what keeps me focused on this path.
